Can you please explain about Haj ? What kind of ibada, Haj is act of Charity or its farz ?
Hajj is one of the basic pillars of Islam and is a very important form of worship and is not only Fard but is one of the most important Fards on which Islam is based upon. There is a saying of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) related by Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (ruh) in both main books of hadith (Bukhari and Muslim) which says that: Islam is based on five pillars; ‘to bear witness that there is no one worthy of worship except Allah, and Mohammad (pbuh) is his messenger, to establish the prayer, to pay zakat, to fast, and to perform Hajj (the pilgrimage).’
Hajj is special because is incorporates two types of sacrifices: financial and physical. Some forms of worship (such as prayer and fasting) are only physical; others (such as zakat) are only financial; but Hajj is such that it incorporates both.
