Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by ShariahBoard.org
I want to ask the matter that, I go to study far from my home so I pray in the mosque of that area alhamdulillah, so I often have to go to toilet. Problem is when I was at my home after doing piss, I do istinja with left hand so if any drops are under they came out and then I also stand up and do the same in baysan to make the drops came out. But their in another mosque toilet are small, so after pissing. I just did istinja and shake my self to right and left and also stand up and site so drops came and I though it will not came again. But when I went into sajda I found drops coming out. But i still complete namaz with jamat and after farz I came out without reading sunnah and witr. I study and came back to home then i wash my legs and changed my lower and I offer farz again and same thing happen again i was at home i broke my namaz due to this but I didn’t broke namaz with jamat.? please tell me how many things I have done wrong. and please make dua that this thing don’t happen today I am feeling a lot of weakness maybe that’s why this happen.
In regards to the issues relating to urine the scholars in general have suggested that one should stay away from doubtful things. What this means is that one should not act on doubt. One should do as much as possible to eliminate doubt first and then with complete peace of heart proceed with the action. If in the middle of the prayer some doubt comes up with respect to the leakage of urine then one should inspect it to see if the spot is moist or not because a lot of times just mere suspicion haunts the person. If the spot is moist then one should wash that area and repeat the wudu and there is no need to wash the neither legs nor waist down area. However, if one doesn’t see anything then in that case just assume that it’s paranoia and misgivings. It’s reported in a hadith that the satan causes a feeling of itch around the private part making the person think that something has leaked, whereas in reality nothing comes out. So, in cases like this, it’s most likely that you are experiencing distrustful feelings. If something like this happens again then one should see the spot to see if it’s moist or not. If the spot is moist then one should repeat the prayer and if it’s not then the prayer is fine.
