Menstruation

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by ShariahBoard.org
What is the ruling of the divine shariah if a women has a wight color substance coming out of them continuously which is of liquidly character ? So, what is the ruling about their purity? Should they shower or just do ablution? How should they perform their prayers?
A.) If a complete time of one prayer goes by in such a manner that the substance continues to come out without a stop, in another words, it doesn’t stop for an amount of time which would facilitate for her to make ablution and pray then this woman would be excused. However, if the complete time of any prayer doesn’t go by in such a way that there is a possibility for the person to pray the prayer of that time without the occurrence of the excusable reason, rather the person would have so much time in which the prayer can be performed without the excusable reason happening in that time then the person is not excusable.

B.) And the ruling for the ones who are excused is such that for every prayer, for instance, for the time of zuhar prayer one should make the ablution and with that ablution one can pray the farz, Sunnah, nafal, and can even make up any of the missed prayers. The continuation of the flow of that substance would not be the cause to break the ablution. When the time of zuhar expires then the ablution would expire as well. Subsequently, for the ASR prayer the person would have to make a new ablution. It’s not necessary for the ones who are excused to have the excusable reason during the entire time of a prayer as long as it appears at least one or two times during that time of the prayer, the person would still be considered excused. When the person has one complete time of a prayer in such a manner that the plea or the excusable reason doesn’t appear even once then the person is no longer excused.
