I am from New York.
I OWED ZAKAT FROM YEAR 2011 TO UNTIL NOW BECAUSE OF MY FINANCIAL CONDITION.
I HAVE 25 TOLA OF GOLD AND I HAVE $600 RENT DEPOSIT.
MY AVERAGE BANK BALANCE AT THE END OF THE EVERY YEAR IS $500.
SO PLEASE CAN YOU CALCULATE HOW MUCH ZAKAT I OWED FROM YEAR 2011 UO TO NOW?
CAN I PAY MY ZAKAT MONEY IN A MONTHLY INSTALLMENT?
I WILL APPRECIATE YOUR HELP.
PLEASE REMEMBER ME, MY FAMILY AND WHOLE UMMAH IN YOUR DUA.

- If possible please find out the selling prices of 25 Tola gold for the previous years and take out 2.5% Zakat on the total value. If you cannot find out the correct selling prices then find out the current selling price and take out 2.5% Zakat for the previous years.
- Also include the amount you have with the landlord.
- Once you determine the amount of Zakat due for the previous years, then there is room that you can pay it off in installments, however, as much as you can, make effort to pay it off as soon as possible.
