Question: Assalamualikum.

I am an unmarried male and at times I feel a moment of sexual pleasure but nothing comes out of my private parts. Whenever this happens, I keep checking every drop of urine to see if any ejaculation has occurred in case I need to perform ghusl. Do I need to perform ghusl?

Answer: Walaikum Asalaam Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh.

Bismillah.

I hope that this finds you in the most beautiful inward and outward states.

No, you do not need to perform ghusl.

The Ritual Bath (ghusl) becomes obligatory after one of the following:

1) Sexual Intercourse

2) Ejaculation (with desire or shahwa)

3) Menstration (hayd)

4) Post-Natal Bleeding (nifaas)

[ Shurunbulali, Maraqi al-Falah]

Unless you are certain that one of the aforementioned four events has occurred, you do not have to perform ghusl. On a side note, please be cautious from giving into baseless misgivings, or waswasa, from Shaytan. I implore you to read the related answers to both ghusl and waswasa.
