If someone has a habit of pointing up whenever they mention Allah, should someone tell them to stop this habit?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

There is no need to tell them to stop: they may well just be expressing sound belief—that Allah is transcendentally beyond all created things.

Wassalam,

Faraz Rabbani
