Being considerate to one’s wife

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Is it wrong to have a high sex drive? I love having frequint sex with my wife. Sometimes I want sex for one time 3 nights in a row or very seldom twice in one night and sumtimes once every second night. Mostly we have sex once every third to fourth night. She complains and has a problem with this because she doesn’t want to wet her hair so often and its frustrates me if she refuses or when she finds a problem with this. Is this normal to feel frustrated what is the ruling about the amount of sex I can have with my wife?

Bismillaah

A: The right thing is to be considerate. Be considerate of her health and of the fact that she does all the work for you. You should engage in a reasonable manner if she is also relaxed and comfortable. It is not sensible that you engage so much that it will leave her weak later on in her advanced life, where she has some complications etc. through which you will suffer.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
