Announcements on the Azaan microphone

Q: Is it permissible to make general announcements on the azan mic which is in the musjid eg. janazah?

A: It is permissible provided it relates to Deen. (e.g. announcements of sighting the crescent of Eid or Ramadhaan, etc.)

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
