Salam Respected Sir I want to ask from the article FATWA that was published in the TIMES”on 3-july”About the Marriage”… As im Hindu girl from a good family from NEPAL…my home is in KATHMANDU,im studying in Delhi since 6yrs…i’ve done my Architecture n’ PHD from Delhi only.I want to marry a muslim guy n’ he want to marry me too…n’ i want to convert my religion too. Not for the marriage only but due to other reasons too. As im rajput,i belong to different society n’ culture…i dont like so manys things from my society….i was always different from my family.I used to be very disturb due to the surrounding which i didnt like at all.I really want follow ISLAM.I’ve studied some of books too.Trust me i really want to be a GOOD MUSLIM…. Ya but this is the way to this PATH..PLEASE REPLY ME…..is our marriage’ll be legally approved…if i’ll follow ISLAM nicely thanks

If a non-Muslim girl wants to embrace Islam with true intention, having converted her to Islam a Muslim boy can marry her, but she must embrace Islam wholeheartedly without aiming at marriage only. Also, she should announce her Islam:
ومنھا ان لاتکون المرأة مشرکۃ، اذا کان الرجل مسلماً فلایجوز للمسلم ان ینکح المشرکۃ لقولہ تعالی: ولا تنکحوا المشرکات حتی یومن۔ (بدائع الصنائع: 3/458)
