Compensation for committing adultery

Answered according to Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q:  If someone got involved in intercourse before marriage and then got married later to that woman,  off course this is not permissible in Islam (May Allah forgive them). Is there is any Kafara now?

A: The both husband and wife should sincerely repent to Allah Ta’ala for committing such a grave sin before the nikaah.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
