Till which time can one perform fajr Salaah?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: How much time before sunrise can one offer fajr Salaah?

A: Till sunrise one can perform fajr Salaah. However if one is performing the Salaah and the sun begins to rise, the Salaah will be invalid and will have to be repeated after sunrise. It is makrooh for one to delay one’s Salaah to the point that one fears the Salaah becoming qadhaa.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
