Q: Can a person read any nafl or qaada when tahajud time end before the fajr azaan.
A: After subhe saadiq, apart from the two Sunnat of Fajr, performing nafl Salaah is impermissible. However performing qadha Salaah is permissible.
( وكذا ) الحكم من كراهة نفل وواجب لغيره لا فرض وواجب لعينه ( بعد طلوع فجر سوى سنته ) لشغل الوقت به تقديرا حتى لو نوى تطوعا كان سنة الفجر بلا تعيين (الدر المختار 1/375)
