Q: What dua can I read to Insha-Allah learn the Qur’aan, I would like to memorize the Qur’aan when I’m done with my studies?

A: Istighfaar and abstinence from wrong and doubtful things, areas and people. These are about the best to strengthen the memory nowadays.

سورة نوح (10-12)
ومن كلام الشافعي رضي الله عنه شكوت إلى وكيع سوء حفظي فأرشدني إلى ترك المعاصي وأخبرني بأن العلم نور ونور الله لا يهدى لعاصي (إعانة الطالبين 2/167)
