Attending a Quraan khuwani mehfil

Q: If someone invites you to a Quraan khuwani mehfil but after, at the end, arrange dars and dua, accordingly what we will do as per sharia law?

If we go only to attend dars and dua then is it ok or no need to go to this type of gathering?

Bismillaah

A: The right thing for a khatam is that it should be done individually in one’s own time and space. The focus of Allah is the ikhlaas and not the formality.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
