Concealing one’s past from one’s future husband

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I am someone who used to masturbate and go all the way. This was before I found out it was haraam. I am now of a marriageable age and my parents are looking for a suitable partner. I am concerned because as a woman it will be quite obvious I used to do this. How does one deal with this topic when their partner asks them about it.

Bismillaah

A: You do not have to reveal your past. Make taubah and promise never to revert to the wrong in future.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
