Q: Is it permissible to read Nafl Salaah sitting on a chair and ruku and sajdha in Ishaarah?

Bismillaah

A: If one is able to perform the Salaah standing with making ruku and sajda in the normal manner, then it is permissible for him to perform nafil Salaah while sitting on the ground and performing the sajda on the ground. However, for such a person to perform nafil Salaah on the chair with signs is not permissible.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
