Blood flowing out of the wound

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q:

1) Different Imaam told me different things regarding blood being napaak or not and does it break your wudu. One imam told me if the blood stays in one place then it’s ok it doesn’t breaks your wudu. Second iman told me there is a fatwa which says blood doesn’t breaks your wudu, you can pray namaz with it. Third imam told me blood is impure so it does breaks your wudu and you can’t namaz with blood so I am confused.

2) I have spots around my body, sometime they give out blood then I get it on my clothes. If I wash my clothes I still can’t remove blood strain from clothes, can I pray namaz with this clothes?

Bismillaah

A: Flowing blood is napaak. If blood flows out of the wound, then the wudhu breaks. After cleaning yourself, you should wash the soiled area on your clothing or change your clothes and thereafter perform Salaah.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
