Filling a gap in the saff during Salaah

Q: Please explain the procedure of stepping forward to fill in a gap in the saff in front. Because beheshti zewar mentions to step past the sajdah position breaks the Salaah.

Bismillaah

A: The simple way is that the people on the right and left come closer to each other and fill the gap.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
