Falsely Accused of Jadoo

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Mahmoodiyah

Question:

Assalamualaikum, in the name Allah the most beneficial the most merciful.
dear brother,
I have been accused of doing Jadoo on my family members. it is now almost3 months. in that time I have approached a prominent Moulana. whereby he asked me to swear an oath on the Qur’an to proof my innocence. in front of few of the members who have accused me. all I wanted to know from them is what proof they have that I do such nonsense. they have broken family ties going back 2 generations. the one member I spoke to told me that she went to 3 Moulanas and each one points to my name. Alhamdulillah I am reading all my Namaazes. and praying to Allah to please unfold the truth and let them get back in to their senses. sadly this is not happening . what I need to know is what is the punishment for falsely accusing of jadoo and breaking family ties for unfounded reasons. I have made Sabr for 3 months asking Allah to reveal the truth. what should I do in this case. as these accusations have completely affected my mother. Inshallah make Du’aa for us and may Allah give them Hidayah Islamically what is now the procedure. is it wrong for me to defend myself by telling people of their stupidity and ignorance, Jazakallah. your urgent reply will be greatly appreciated.

Answer:

If you didn’t do any Jadoo etc, and didn’t harm anyone, then Insha Allah the end result will be good. Those who accused you, they themselves will realize their mistakes. You should just carry on with life in conformity with the demands of Shari at, and ask for salvation, Allah Humma Innee Aj’aluka fee nuhoorihim wa aoothu bika min shuroorihim, always keep … and read Laa how la walaa quwwata illa billah 500 times daily. Do not mention the weaknesses of your family to anybody, because you will feel bad in their disgrace.

And Allah Ta’ala knows best
