There are heaters placed in front of the Masjid. One person objected that this is copying the Jews. Whereas in the Masjid’s of very great scholars have heaters in them. Is this true? In our minds it isn’t like that.

It is okay to perform Salah and Sajda (prostration) in front of the heaters placed in front of the masjids during the winter. This is not copying the Jews in anyway. However, it is better to place the heaters in the corners of the masjid or behind the people performing Salah instead of placing the heaters exactly in front of them (i.e. the people praying Salah).
