Can I donate a refrigerator to a Deeni Madrasa as Zakat?

When giving Zakat (or anything purchased with the money of Zakat) to one who is eligible for receiving Zakat, he must become its sole owner. Zakat will not be fulfilled merely donating something that may be of benefit to those who are eligible for Zakat. Hence in the mentioned scenario, if the refrigerator is donated to a Deeni Madrasa so that the poor students may use it, then Zakat will not be valid. However, if it is donated to the Madrasa after Tamleek Shar’ee, then Zakat will be valid.
