Can we participate in the functions of Ghair Muqallideen? Remember! It will strike very bad if not attended and our friendship too is very deep???

There is no harm as per the Shari’a in participating in personal functions such as marriage events of Ghairi Muqallid friends but their gatherings with religious atmosphere should be avoided since they make religious rulings as subjects for arguments and normally adopt a practice of false personating under the guise of Qur’an and Sunnath due to which the average man would most possibly go astray and become a victim of misunderstanding and mistrust about the pious elders.
