I like to ask you about the Thablighi Jamath. Our Thablighi brothers often use to say that spend 4 months, if somebody doesn’t spend 4 months he is told that if you die you will die without learning the Eeman.
1. What? Is it correct to say so to anyone?
2. Is it Fardh, Fardh Kifaya, Wajib or Nafl on each person to go in the Thablighi Jamath?
3. A person performs 5 times Namaz, God-fearing and daily listens the lessons, keeps on acquiring the religious knowledge through books or by refering to Ulemas, only sustainer of his family ( may be there are other people who earn). Even if this person does not spend 4 months the Thablighi brothers say that he will die without learning the Eeman. Isn’ this a Kufriya speech?
5. In todays’ situation how long a person can leave his wife and travel abroad? Is it correct to stay away for more than 4 or 6 months? If no, then what is the ruling of those Thablighi people who go for 1 year?
Your Fatwa is not correct at all, reply for the questions asked. And often Thablighis say like this. Please reply order-wise to these questions. Jazakallah

Let it be known that the Thabligh Jamath is purely a reforming organization and participating in which is a source of blessings. The main purpose of this Jamath is to propagate the Deen to others. Criticizing or raising objections on others is neither allowed at all in this Jamath nor is it the manner of those who are connected to it, rather most of them try to convey the message of Deen to others through brotherhood, love and affection. And same is the advice given by the elders who are responsible. Therefore if a person connected to Thjabligh Jamath uses such type of statements, it is not correct to find fault with the Thabligh Jamath or those who are attched to it, rather it is his personal weakness and he has not understood the style of this work. Considering the whole Jamath to be reproachable because of the blunder of a single individual is not correct at any cost. On the contrary it is essential to explain to the individual who is engaged in such talks. Further it is necessary for the elders of this Jamath to concentrate on resolving in case such things become common, lest, the main objective of the Jamath get affected.
