Is there a Hadith reported from Sayyiduna Mu’adh (radiyallahu ‘anhu) which states that there is a guard angel in the skies who does not let the actions of the people who backbite pass him [i.e their actions will never make it onto the higher heaven their actions will never be accepted]?
You are probably referring to the lengthy Hadith regarding the creation of the seven heavens and what transpires through each sky when a person does a good deed.
‘Allamah Mundhiri (rahimahullah) says, ‘The signs of fabrication are evident in all off the chains and words of this Hadith.’ The Hadith is not suitable to quote.
