There is no good in those who do not host and entertain guest

Question

Is the following Hadith suitable to quote?

“There is no good in the one who does not host.”

 

Answer

Sayyiduna ‘Uqbah ibn ‘Amir (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reported that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “There is no good in the one who does not host [guests].”

(Musnad Ahmad, vol. 4 pg. 155)

 

The narration is suitable to quote.

(Refer: Targhib, vol. 3 pg. 374, Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 8 pg. 175 and At Taysir, vol. 2 pg. 500)
