What is the status of this hadith? Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said that when noor enters the heart, the (spiritual) breast of man expands. When the Sahabah asked for a sign of this noor, Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “Such a person flees from this abode of deception. He turns his attention to the abode of the Aakhirah (Hereafter) and he makes preparations for death before it’s arrival.”
Answer:
This narration is very weak.
It has been reported with several chains, all of which meet at one particular narrator who is classified as extremely weak.
