Food eaten at sehri

Is there a Hadith which states that a person who eats suhur/sehri, will not be asked about that bounty/will not be held accountable for that food?

Answer

Sehri is indeed a blessed meal. There are many Hadith wherein Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) emphasised on partaking of this meal.

However, the Hadith in question is unreliable. ‘Allamah Suyuti (rahimahullah) has pointed out a fabricator in the chain.

(Dhaylul La-Alil Masnu’ah, vol. 1 pg. 472, Hadith: 572, Tanzihush Shari’ah, vol. 2 pg. 166)

This Hadith should not be quoted.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
