Entry into Jannah without accountability for those who forgive people

Is this narration authentic?

Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “An announcement will be made on the Day of Qiyamah stating, ‘Where are all those people who forgave mistakes? They should come forward and collect their reward from their Rabb because every person in the habit of forgiving others is entitled to Jannah.”

Answer

Imam Ibn Shahin (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) with an extremely weak chain.

(At Targhib Fi Fadailil A’amal, Hadith: 519. Refer: Mizanul I’tidal, vol. 5 pg. 36 and Al Kashif, number: 5884)

The following version should be quoted instead:

Sayyiduna Anas ibn Malik (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “…[On the Day of Qiyamah] A caller will then call out, ‘Those whose reward is guaranteed by Allah should stand and enter Jannah.’ After calling out a second time, someone will ask ‘Who are these people?’ It will be said, ‘Those who would forgive people.’

The caller will call out for the third time, ‘Those whose reward is guaranteed by Allah should stand and enter Jannah.’ Several thousand people will stand up and enter Jannah without accountability.’”

(Al Mu’jamul Awsat of Imam Tabarani, Hadith: 2019)

‘Allamah Mundhiri (rahimahullah) has declared this chain sound.

(Refer: Targhib, vol. 3 pg. 309 and Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 10 pg. 411)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
