Ibn ‘Umar’s (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) description of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)

Who is this statement attributed to?

ما رأيت أحدا أنجد ولا أجود ولا أشجع ولا أضوأ من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

Answer

Imams Ibn Sa’d and Darimi (rahimahumallah) have recorded this as the statement of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhuma). The narrators are reliable.

(Tabaqat Ibn Sa’d, vol. 1 pg. 281 and pg. 321, Sunan Darimi, Hadith: 60)

Translation

I have not seen anyone more [noble], more generous, braver and more handsome than Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam).

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
