How authentic is this Hadith?
Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“In this world, people should certainly remember Allah on their soft [comfortable] beds and Allah will grant them entry into high stages of Jannah”
Answer
This Hadith is recorded in Sahih Ibn Hibban and Musnad Abi Ya’la.
(Sahih Ibn Hibban; Al Ihsan, Hadith :124, Musnad Abi Ya’la, Hadith: 1110 and 1391)
Imam Ibn Hibban (rahimahullah) has declared the Hadith authentic. ‘Allamah Haythami (rahimahullah) has declared the chain sound (hasan).
