A narration about a father teaching his child etiquette

Is this suitable to quote?

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “It is better for a father to discipline/teach etiquette to his son than to give one entire measure (one sa’) of charity.”

Answer:

Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir ibn Samurah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) and has declared the Hadith weak.

(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 1951)

‘Allamah Mundhiri (rahimahullah) and other Muhaddithun have declared a narrator of this Hadith very weak.

(Targhib, vol. 3 pg. 72, Faydul Qadir, 7210 and Mawdu’atus Saghani, Hadith: 59)

The narration is suited for practice as there are other broader supports too.
