An unauthentic form of Salah to offer on the 15th of Sha’ban

Is this authentic?

On the night of 15 Sha’ban, offer twelve rak’ahs of Salah. In each rak’ah recite Surah Ikhlas thirty (30) times. You will see your abode in Jannah and be granted  intercession for ten (10) family members

Answer

The Muhaddithun have declared this Hadith a fabrication. The Hadith is not suitable to quote.

(Talkhisu Kitabul Mawdu’at, Hadith: 437, Tanzihush Shari’ah, vol. 2 pg. 93)

Note:

There are no specific types of Salah prescribed for the fifteenth (15th) of Sha’ban. One may engage in whatever form of ‘ibadah one is comfortable with.

Note: Certain individuals have the ill-habit of misrepresenting the facts on the issue of the fifteenth night of Sha’ban. Whilst the narration in question is indeed baseless, this does not mean that the night of the fifteenth of Sha’ban itself has no basis too!
