Yes this is correct.
Rasulullah (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) is reported to have said:
‘The most detestable of all permissible deeds to Allah is divorce.’
(Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 2170-2171, Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 2018 & Mustadrak Hakim, vol.2 pg.196)
This Hadith is suitable to quote.
