It is true that Allah Ta’ala said:
إن هذا دين ارتضيته لنفسي ولن يصلح له إلا السخاء وحسن الخلق فأكرموه بهما ما صحبتموه
Answer
This Hadith Qudsy is recorded by Imam Daraqutni (rahimahullah) with a weak chain.
(Ithafus Sadatil Muttaqin, vol.8 pg.171)
Translation
‘Indeed I have chosen this religion for myself (to be worshiped). It is suited to generosity and good character, so honour Islam with these two qualities.’
