Is the following narration authentic?
Sayyiduna Hasan ibn ‘Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) said, ‘Beware of hating us for Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) has said:
‘On the Day of Qiyamah, those who hated us or were jealous of us will be driven away from the pond of Kawthar with whips of fire.’
Answer
Imam Tabarani (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration in Al Mu’jamul Awsat. (Hadith: 2426). However this narration has been transmitted via a liar. The Hadith is unauthentic and not suitable to quote.

Loving the Ahlu Bayt is extremely important, and has been encouraged in many Hadiths. See here for one such narration.
