Is this Hadith suitable to quote?
يجمع الله الناس يوم القيامة في صعيد واحد، ثم يطلع عليهم رب العالمين، فيقول: ألا يتبع كل إنسان ما كانوا يعبدون، فيمثل لصاحب الصليب صليبه، ولصاحب التصاوير تصاويره، ولصاحب النار ناره، فيتبعون ما كانوا يعبدون، ويبقى المسلمون
Answer
This is part of a lengthy Hadith recorded by Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu). He has declared the Hadith sound (hasan). [Some editions of Tirmidhi have the words ‘hasanun sahih‘]
(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2557)
Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim (rahimahumallah) have also recorded a similar Hadith.

Translation
Allah will gather mankind on the day of Qiyamah on a single land. Allah Ta’ala will then say, Every person should go and follow whatever they worshipped [in the world]. A cross will be symbolised for the one who worshipped the cross, images for the one who worshipped images and fire for the fire worshipper. They will all follow what they would worship. The Muslims will remain. [After testifying that Allah is their Rabb, they would then be blessed with seeing Allah Ta’ala]
And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
