Sakinah descends when Quran is being recited

Could you verify this narration?

A man was reciting Surah Al Kahf and his horse was tied with two ropes beside him. A cloud came down and spread over him and it kept on coming closer and closer to him till his horse started jumping (as if afraid of something). In the morning, the man went to Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and told him of that experience. Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “That was As Sakinah [tranquillity] which descended due to (the recitation of) the Quran.”

Answer

Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim (rahimahumallah) have recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna Al Bara ibn Al ‘Azib (radiyallahu ‘anhu). The narration is therefore authentic.

(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 3614-4839-5011 and Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 795)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
