When entering home and there is nobody at home should the words
‘Alayna wa ‘ala ibadillahis sawlihin
be added after saying the normal salam?
Answer:
When one enters an empty house, then amongst other duas, one should say,
Assalamu ‘alayna wa ‘ala ‘ibadillahis-sawlihin
This applies only if there is nobody in the house.

I haven’t come across a narration that says that this should be added after saying the normal salam.
If there are people in the home, then one should greet them by only saying:
Assalamu’alaykum, wa rahma tullahi wa barakatuh
