What is the definition of Al Khabarul Wahid?

What is the definition of a khabarul wahid Hadith?

Answer

A khabarul wahid is that Hadith which does not fulfil the conditions of a mutawatir Hadith.

Al khabarul mutawatir is that Hadith which is transmitted by such a large number of narrators in every era that dispels the possibility of collusion or perpetuated error. A Hadith which does not fulfil this condition is termed ‘Al khabarul wahid.’

A khabarul wahid is further classified into Al Mashur, Al ‘Aziz and Al Gharib.
