What is the authenticity of this narration:

Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) said:

“The entire world is cursed and whatever it contains is also cursed except for the dhikr of Allah Ta’ala and what is joined to it, and except for the ‘Alim and the muta’allim.”

Answer

This Hadith is recorded by Imams Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah (rahimahumallah) .

Ima Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has declared it sound (hasan gharib).

‘Allamah Munawi (rahimahullah) has also graded it as good (jayyid).
