‘Abu Bakr is our leader’

Could you verify this narration?

Sayyiduna ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhu) said: ‘Abu Bakr is our leader/master (sayyiduna) and he freed our master, i.e. Bilal (radiyallahu ‘anhuma)’

Answer:

Imam Bukhari (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir ibn ‘Abdillah (radiyallahu ‘anhuma). The Hadith is therefore authentic.
