Is this narration authentic?
Ja’far As Sadiq (rahimahullah) said:
“Allah disassociate himself from those who disassociate themselves from Abu Bakr and ‘Umar”.
Answer:
This narration of Ja’far As Sadiq (rahimahullah) is recorded in Fadailus Sahabah of Imam Ahmad ibn Hambal and other Hadith collections.
(Fadailus Sahabah, Hadith: 143)
‘Allamah Dhahabi (rahimahullah) states that this statement of his is mutawatir [i.e. has reached the highest level of authenticity due to the number of chains].
