Is this Hadith authentic?
Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
If any one perseveres in worship for the whole day, he will not receive the reward as much as if he were to recite the following tasbih:
Alhamdulillahi ‘adada ma ahsa kitabuh, walhamdu lillahi ‘adada ma fi kitabihi, wal hamdu lillahi ‘adada ma ahsa khalquh, walhamdu lillahi ‘ala ma fi khalqih, walhamdu lillahi mil-a samawatihi wa ardih, walhamu lillah ‘adada kulli shay-in wal hamdu lillahi mil-a kulli shay-in
Subhanallahi ‘adada ma ahsa kitabuh, subhanallahi ‘adada ma fi kitabihi, subhanallahi ‘adada ma ahsa khalquh, subhanallahi ‘ala ma fi khalqih, subhanallahi mil-a samawatihi wa ardih, subhanallahi ‘adada kulli shay-in, subhanallahi mil-a kulli shay-in
Allahu Akbaru ‘adada ma ahsa kitabuh, Allahu Akbaru ‘adada ma fi kitabihi, Allahu Akbaru ‘adada ma ahsa khalquh, Allahu Akbaru ‘ala ma fi khalqih, Allahu Akbaru mil-a samawatihi wa ardih, Allahu Akbaru ‘adada kulli shay-in, Allahu Akbaru mil-a kulli shay-in
Answer
Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) once passed by Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) who was making dhikr. Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) then advised him to recite the dhikr mentioned above. [As the reward is far greater].
Imam Tabarani (rahimahullah) has recorded this version of the Hadith. ‘Allamah Mundhiri and ‘Allamah Haythami (rahimahumallah) have stated, ‘Imam Tabarani has recorded this narration with two chains, one of them is sound (hasan).’
(Al Mu’jamul Kabir, Hadith: 8122, Targhib, vol. 2 pg. 440, Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 10 pg. 93)
See Targhib for other versions of this narration recorded by Imams Nasai, Ahmad, Ibn Khuzaymah (rahimahumullah).

And Allah Ta’la Knows best.
