Is this Hadith authentic?

Sayyiduna Fadalah ibn ‘Ubayd (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Glad tidings to the one who is guided to Islam, whose livelihood is sufficient and who is content.”

Answer

Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith and has declared it authentic (sahih).

(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2349)

Imam Muslim (rahimahullah) has a recorded a similar narration on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr ibnul ‘As (radiyallahu ‘anhuma).

(Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1054)
