Make du’a after ‘Asr on Friday

Is this Hadith authentic?

Sayyiduna Jabir (radiyallahu ‘anhu) relates that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Friday comprises of twelve hours. There is one in which a Muslim who asks Allah for something will have it granted to him. Seek it in the last hour after ‘Asr.”

Answer

Imam Abu Dawud, Imam Nasai and Imam Hakim (rahimahumullah) have recorded this version.

(Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 1041, Sunan Nasai; Al Mujtaba, Hadith: 1389 and Mustadrak Hakim, vol. 1 pg. 279)

Imam Hakim (rahimahullah) has declared the narrators reliable, in accordance to the standards of Imam Muslim and Hafiz Dhahabi concurs. Hafiz Ibn Hajar (rahimahullah) has declared the chain sound (hasan).

(Fathul Bari, Hadith: 935, vol. 2 pg. 420)
