The du’a ‘O Allah, I seek refuge from knowledge which does not benefit’

Can you please provide the reference and Arabic text for this du’a:

‘O Allah, I seek refuge from knowledge which does not benefit, from the heart that is not submissive to you/fearful of you, from the soul that does not feel contented and the supplication that is not answered’

Answer

Imam Muslim (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration on the authority of Sayyiduna Zayd ibn Arqam (radiyallahu ‘anhu). This is part of a lengthier du’a which Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) would make.

(Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2722)

Transliteration
