A narration regarding the murderer of Sayyiduna Husayn (radiyallahu ‘anhu)

What is the authenticity of the narration which states that once Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) was kissing Sayyiduna Husayn (radiyallahu ‘anhu) and he said, ‘May Allah curse your killer. He will be a man from my Ummah who hates my family and he will never attain my intercession’

Hafiz Khatib Baghdadi (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration in his Tarikh. However he and other Muhaddithun have declared the Hadith a fabrication. The narration is not suitable to quote.

(Tarikh Baghdad, vol. 4 pg. 467, Tanzihush Shari’ah, vol. 1 pg. 408)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
