Any special virtue for keeping names of the Ahlu Bayt?

In a tradition it has been narrated from ‘Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhu) that poverty and indigence will never enter the house in which the name Muhammad, or Ahmad, ‘Ali, Hasan, Husayn, Ja’far, Talib, ‘Abdullah or Fatimah is present.

Answer

I have not come across this narration in any authentic Hadith source. I could only locate this narration in Shi’ah books. One should abstain from quoting a Hadith (like the one in question) when the Hadith is untraceable in any original Hadith source, until its authenticity can be verified

The Muhaddithun have also mentioned that there is no special virtue in keeping the name Muhammad other than it being a sign of love for our Nabi (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) – which in itself is sufficient an inspiration to keep the name . See here

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
