Which oils were used by Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) on the hair?

Answer

I haven’t seen any specification regarding the type of oil Rasulullah (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) would apply to his blessed hair.

However Nabi (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) did encourage the use of olive oil (Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 1851-1852)

It is possible that he too used olive oil (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam).
