Is wearing of jewelery with the Aqeeq stone a sunnah practice. The stone was purchased in Medinah Shareef.

Wa’alaykum as Salam wa rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,
The wearing of jewelry with the ʿAqīq stone is permissible for women.
In the case of men, only a silver ring with the ʿAqīq stone will be permissible provided that the silver ring itself does not exceed 4.374 g in weight.
Though the permissibility of wearing jewelry or a ring with the ʿAqīq stone has been established, the categorization of it being ‘a Sunnah practice’ has not been established.
